HAMBURGER FEED--FBLA hamburger and hotdog feed at the Cove High School/Powder Valley football game tomorrow night. The grill will open at 5:15 for anyone who wants to join us for dinner before or during the game. Please come out and support the Cove FBLA chapter.
PINK GAME--Cove High School versus Powder Valley High School in volleyball tomorrow afternoon starting at 4:00 pm. This will be our seniors final home game as well as our PINK GAME. Please wear pink for National Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Parent Conferences are fast approaching! Conferences will be held from 4PM to 8PM on Thursday, October 24, and from 8AM to Noon on Friday October 25. Grades 7-12 will be drop-in at the high school gym while grades K-6 is by appointment. Reminder: Thursday, October 17 is a professional development day for elementary teachers. There will be no school for grades K-6 on Thursday. Grades 7-12 will have a regular school day.
Final home game for the Cove Leopards volleyball and football teams this Friday. Volleyball will start at 4:00 pm and football will start at 7:00. Come out and support the teams and honor our seniors in their last home game.

Kids have incredible strength. Last week I’ve had the (exhausting) privilege of taking my class to an OMSI Outdoor School where I got to witness my students grow as they overcame so many personal challenges. It’s stressful to live together in tight quarters and travel away from home. They supported and accepted each other and made their experience great. I’m proud of them.
Cove middle School volleyball and football will be starting in Elgin at 9:00 am on Saturday. The four-way will be run in jamboree format. Please come out and support our middle school teams on their last weekend for the 2019 fall seasons.
