COVE HS - Swim Results
Cove participated in our last regular season meet at Baker yesterday. Cove was represented by Kenzy Spence, Eliza Pettit and Becca Koza. The meet consisted of Cove, Baker, LaGrande and Estacada.
Highlights from the Baker meet are as follows:
Eliza Pettit dropped 0.70 seconds in her 50 freestyle....great swim. This is a difficult race to drop any time. Her major highlight was a third place finish in the 100 backstroke with a 3.5 second drop off of her best time.
Kenzy Spence swam right on her best time in the 100 freestyle and a strong finish in the 50 freestyle.
Becca Koza won the 50 freestyle with a season best time. She also took the first place title in the 100 breaststroke.

Budget Committee Members Sought: The Cove School District will be appointing two members of the five-member budget committee during their February Regular Board Meeting on February 18. If you would like to be considered for appointment, email, deliver, or mail a short letter of interest and introduction to Earl Pettit, Superintendent, by February 11.
What have second graders been up to? They have been learning to use science and the design process engineers use to develop new glue! Yesterday they put their knowledge to the test and developed their first glue!
