The Cove Chapter of FBLA will be hosting a hamburger feed at tommorow's middle school football games. The Cove Booster Club will be running the concession stand., and the Cove HIgh School football team will be hosting this fun event. Join us for a great day of football.
The Cove Middle School volleyball team will be in Elgin tomorrow starting at 12:00 pm. Come out and support this great group of girls on their final day of volleyball for the 2021 season.
The Cove Middle School football team will be hosting Imbler, Powder Valley, and Elgin tomorrow morning on Goodson Field. Cove will play Imbler at 10:00 am., Elgin at 12:30, and Powder at 2:10. The other schools will play each other as well. Join us for this final day of middle school football for the 2021 season. It will be a great day.

VOLLEYBALL CANCELLATIONS: The high school volleyball games scheduled for tomorrow against Enterprise have been cancelled as well as the middle school volleyball games scheduled for Friday in Enterprise.
Life Skills Class took a break from cooking today to learn about opportunities in the Army National Guard....and to prepare and sample some MRE's. Thanks so much, I'm sure they will never forget it!
We have been notified that a middle school volleyball player has tested positive for Covid. We will be cancelling the middle school volleyball game with Pine Eagle, and we ask that both the middle school volleyball and football teams stay away from school this weekend.

First graders had fun today making mandala's, critters, and people out of the nature treasures they collected yesterday at Anthony Lakes!

2. Decorate a vehicle (or?) **Please keep decorations family friendly (not to scary or gruesome.)
3. Provide and hand out candy (individually wrapped and store bought), stickers, etc…
Kindergarten took a field trip to the Catherine Creek Lodge last week, September 23rd. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time searching for living and non-living things in the wilderness. We found all kinds of signs of living things, as well.
COVE HIGH SCHOOL HAMBURGER FEED--There will be a hamburger feed at Friday night's volleyball and football games against Wallowa. We will start the grill around 5:00 pm. If you want a great hamburger with all the fixins, including grilled onions, come out and join us Friday night.
Cove Middle School football and volleyball teams will play in Powder Valley on Thursday at 5:30 pm instead of 5:00.
Volunteers Needed--The high school football and volleyball teams will be in action Friday night against the Wallowa Cougars. Volleyball starts at 4:00 pm and football at 7:00 pm. We need volunteers to help with the games. If you are interested, could you please contact Candy McGilvray at candy.mcgilvray@covesd.org.
Second grade students have been studying habitat diversity in the classroom. They have also been preparing to head into the mountains to work as “field scientists” next week. This afternoon each scientist was given a special book to help guide their field work. Talk about EXCITING! Thank you Cove School District for these special books. ♥️
Third grade gave our new augmented reality program a try today. They had a blast! We get to give it another try next Thursday.
